Dreadnoughtus Model
Discover one of the most extraordinary giant dinosaurs ever uncovered with this highly detailed 1:35 scale Dreadnoughtus model. Named after the idea of being "fearing nothing," Dreadnoughtus was a colossal titanosaur whose enormous body, long neck and powerful tail made it one of the most impressive herbivores of the Late Cretaceous.
The model has been carefully sculpted to capture the immense proportions of this giant sauropod, with a massive barrel-shaped body, sturdy column-like legs, long neck and muscular tail. Fine skin texture, subtle musculature and natural folds across the body add depth and realism, while its grounded stance gives the model a convincing sense of weight and scale.
Dreadnoughtus lived approximately 77 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous in what is now Patagonia, Argentina. The best-known specimen was estimated to have reached around 26 metres in length. Its exact body mass remains debated, but estimates commonly place it in the region of 30–40 tonnes, illustrating the enormous size reached by some titanosaurs.
One of the most interesting things about Dreadnoughtus is how much scientists have been able to learn from its fossils. The remarkably complete skeleton includes numerous bones from the body, limbs and tail, providing valuable information about the anatomy and proportions of giant sauropods.
