With its unusually tall neck spines and slender sauropod build, Amargasaurus is one of the most distinctive dinosaurs of the Early Cretaceous. This highly detailed 1:35 scale model captures the unusual anatomy of this fascinating herbivore with a realistic sculpt and carefully finished surface.

The model features Amargasaurus' characteristic elongated neck, narrow head, compact body and long tail, with prominent spines extending along the neck and back. Fine skin texture, subtle muscle definition and natural folds give the figure a lifelike appearance, while the carefully balanced pose adds a sense of natural movement.

Amargasaurus lived approximately 130–123 million years ago in what is now Argentina. It reached around 9–10 metres in length and is estimated to have weighed approximately 2–3 tonnes. Compared with many of the enormous sauropods that came later, Amargasaurus was relatively small, but its unusual anatomy made it particularly remarkable.

The long paired spines along its neck and back are its defining feature. Their exact purpose remains uncertain, although scientists have suggested they may have supported a sail-like structure or been used for display. Whatever their function, they give Amargasaurus one of the most recognisable silhouettes among sauropod dinosaurs.
