Euoplocephalus Model
Discover one of the best-armoured dinosaurs of the Late Cretaceous with this highly detailed 1:35 scale Euoplocephalus model. Built like a living fortress, Euoplocephalus combined a heavily protected body with a powerful tail club, creating one of the most distinctive defensive designs among the ankylosaurs.
The model captures its low, heavily built body, broad skull, sturdy limbs and extensive armour plating. Fine sculpted skin textures, individually defined armour elements and subtle anatomical detail give the figure a realistic appearance, while the natural stance emphasises the dinosaur's remarkable defensive adaptations.
Euoplocephalus lived approximately 76–70 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous in what is now North America. It reached around 5–6 metres in length and is estimated to have weighed approximately 2 tonnes. Its body was covered in rows of bony plates and smaller osteoderms, providing protection from predators.
One of its most impressive features was its tail club, formed from large bony structures at the end of the tail. This could have delivered powerful defensive blows, making it a formidable opponent for large predators. Its small, leaf-shaped teeth were suited to a diet consisting primarily of vegetation.
