Edmontosaurus Model

Discover one of the most widespread herbivorous dinosaurs of the Late Cretaceous with this highly detailed 1:35 scale Edmontosaurus model. Often described as a "duck-billed" dinosaur, Edmontosaurus was a large hadrosaur capable of walking on two or four legs, giving it remarkable versatility for an animal of its size.

The model has been carefully sculpted to reflect its powerful build, elongated head, broad beak and muscular hindquarters. Detailed skin texture, subtle musculature and realistic folds across the body create a lifelike appearance, while the natural posture helps demonstrate how this enormous herbivore may have moved and fed.

Edmontosaurus lived approximately 73–66 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous across parts of what is now North America. Some species are estimated to have reached around 12 metres in length and weighed approximately 4–5 tonnes. Its broad, toothless beak was suited to cropping vegetation, while hundreds of teeth arranged in dental batteries allowed it to efficiently process plant material.

One of the most fascinating aspects of Edmontosaurus is the evidence preserved in its fossils. Exceptional specimens have provided scientists with information about skin texture, muscle structure and even injuries, giving us an unusually detailed look at the biology of these animals.

Edmontosaurus shared its environment with famous Late Cretaceous dinosaurs including Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, making it an excellent model for creating a realistic prehistoric ecosystem.
